Denise Antaya (Sutherland)
"I always wonder if people see things the way I see them, do they see the magic? This is what I try to share when I put my brush to canvas. I may not always succeed, but I will keep trying till I do, and even then I will not stop." |

Lisa Jenniskens My interest in art began while I was a young girl and continued during high school where I was lucky enough to have an inspiring art teacher who helped me develop my talent. I used mainly watercolours then, and I continue to use watercolours today. I love to focus in on details in nature, capturing unique shapes and textures. |

Betty LeBlanc
Betty LeBlanc - paints primarliy in acrylic and is inspired by the many colours and shapes nature provides in the skys and landscapes. Painting in large size and keeping the paint brush stokes loose gives it an almost abstract quality and creates impact in a room. By day she works at Kwik Kopy as graphic designer and at night and weekends works on the fine art realm of things. |

Jeff McClinchey
Jeff doesn't believe he is an artist. Just someone who enjoys creating things. Traveling the world and experiencing life keep him energized and wanting to leave whatever type of chronicle he can. What he works on changes with every mood but Jeff is currently experimenting in mixed media, graphic storytelling and photography.

Richard Minns
Richard Minns was inspired by 20th century master photographers like Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Robert Frank and Ralph Gibson to study photography at Conestoga College in the 70's. He then segued into graphic design for a couple of decades, enjoying that more than calculating exposures and long hours in a darkroom. The advent of digital photography has rekindled his passion for light, shadow and how the camera allows one to see beauty and significance in the ordinary... especially now that it's as easy and affordable as sketching. To bring it full circle he also teaches photography to Graphic Design students at Fanshawe College. |

Christina Nurse
Born in Toronto into a home full of art, it was easy for Christina to become fascinated by the idea of becoming an artist. This dream continued through high school and was rewarded with her acceptance into the honours Fine Art program at McMaster University where she focused on painting. Throughout her graphic design career in Toronto, Christina was fortunate to work near OCAD where she enjoyed an endless supply of art and design courses. Over the last ten years, while living in London, Christina's creativity was focused on volunteer work, painting murals in the children's ER, designing invites, posters and set design for LHSC and Hope's Garden. The 5 to 9 Group has been a wonderful opportunity to rediscover Christina's painting abilities and challenge her creativity. |

Cheryl Radford
Cheryl Radford considers drawing to be a primary medium, not a preliminary sketch for a painting, sculpture or another medium. She enjoys the challenge of combining the four elements of drawing: line, value, texture and form, into works that range from believable and realistic to stylized and simplified. Her favorite subjects include the human form and anything golf related. |

Anthony Vella-Zarb
Anthony takes photographs in the city, and observes how it interacts with people and the natural world. Whether it be vines on a the side of a building, a private gathering on a public street or clouds reflected in windows, his pictures tell a story of city life and how it affects the world. |

Scott Woods My work is about what interests me, my subject is usually that which is taken for granted or overlooked in everyday life. Appreciating the little things in the subject be it the colour, texture, its composition, or what it might have been. My photography and paintings bring the once discarded or forgotten to the forefront to be noticed or seen in a way they never were before. Its about rediscovering the old and seeing something new.
