Recent Drawings, March 2009
This show of recent drawings will include plein air, figurative and golf related art. The plein air ink drawings were completed last summer at various locations including the Harrington Grist Mist and country properties in the London area. The figurative works range from graphite and ink to watercolour, some realistic renderings and some stylilzed images that tell a story. I have always felt "the figure" speaks universally to all people, wheather you consider yourself an art critic or you are just a casual viewer. This show would not be complete without the images of golf, an obsession of mine that combines history, landscape and the figure.
