2007 Annual Juied Show

The main focus of the group is to promote painting outdoors. This plein-air style of painting teaches the artist to work quickly using the available light and atmospheric conditions, while appreciating the natural beauty of the landscape and surroundings. From May until September the group has the opportunity to paint or draw with fellow members on location at various sites in London and surrounding area. This show co mbines works from the summer paintouts with general works from some of the 60 members. The styles and media vary from artist to artist.

The challenge, inspiration and comradery of working "on location" is what brings this group together.

For this show, 28 artists submitted work, over 100 paintings were displayed. By the end of the month long show, a total of 11 paintings were sold.
