Spent a couple of days in Toronto, a pleasant train ride, visiting museums, and enjoying great company, and great conversations over food and some beverages.
At the ROM, went to see the exhibition: Kent Monkman: Being Legendary, (Curated by Cree artist Kent Monkman, Being Legendary presents an installation of new original paintings by the artist alongside cultural belongings from collections at ROM). Interesting and educational. At the AGO, went to see the exhibition: Leonard Cohen: Everybody Knows, (An enduring artistic force, Canadian novelist, poet, and singer-songwriter poet Leonard Cohen (1934-2016) is renowned the world over for his meditations on beauty, death, loss and the human heart). Inspirational. Both exhibitions are worth a visit! Comments are closed.
